I like to get out of the house and work from time to time and that means that I need to find good, FREE Wifi access, and I love doing it in down town Coeur d’Alene. I wandered across City Perc at 108 N 4th St while on my way to another Wifi hotspot on Sherman avenue.

Hiking - English Point on Hayden Lake

One of the great things to do around the Coeur d’alene area is to enjoy many of our hiking trails. One of our favorites is English Point at the corner of Lancast Road and English Point Rd in Hayden, just a few miles north of Coeur d’alene, Idaho. This little park has several trails for you on both sides of English Point Road and offers you great access for families and pets, and even a few trails that will take a stroller. If you are looking for any cross country running or cross country skiing during the winter, this is the place you want to go.

Boat Rentals in Coeur d’Alene

Labor Day weekend typically signifies the end of Summer as the Tuesday following all our kids go back to school. So it makes sense that our family did everything we could to have one last weekend of fun before it was all over. Not being a big boat family, really none of us ever owned a boat, we are just a bunch of land lovers, we decided that we needed to acquire a boat for the day and become Pirates of the Coeur d’Alene for a full day (in boat rental terms that is from 9-5).
