Hands On Art is an open pottery studio located at 3115 N. Government Way in Coeur d’Alene that offers entertainment and fun for the whole family.

Hands On Art, owned and operated by Kim Washko, offers over 300 unfinished pottery pieces that customers can choose from to paint and personalize. Pieces range from mugs and figurines to serving dishes and cookie jars, with something for just about everyone. All ages are encouraged to bring out the artist in themselves as they choose their own unfired piece, paint it, and then return in less than a week to pick up their glazed and fired work. Paints, stamps, stencils, and idea books are provided at no additional charge and Washko, along with her staff are always on hand to offer advice, tips, and instruction to customers.

A seperate party room is available for customers to use for birthdays and other celebrations at Hands On Art in Coeur d'Alene.With experts on hand to give advice and tips, your pottery will be just what you wanted at Hands On Art in Coeur d'Alene.

Hand On Art, with it’s bright décor and friendly staff encourages a relaxing and fun experience. For those who prefer to create with friends, the studio offers classes, pottery camps, Bridal showers, birthday parties, and even a monthly ladies night. The studio’s two party packages include not only the pottery and instruction but use of a private room with invitations, a Tootsie Roll bouquet and a remembrance plate of the event. Parties are priced from $90 to $120 for up to six people and you are encouraged to bring your own cake, snacks, or other food and drinks.

Customers paint their handpicked pottery items with supplied paints at Hands On Art in Coeur d'Alene.

Regular pottery prices range from $2-$75 with fire and glaze fees of $2-$4. Hands On Art uses only non-toxic glazes that are food safe so your piece of finished pottery is not only beautiful but also functional.
