Scrappin’ on the Boulevard - Scrapbooking in CDA

When I want to make homemade cards or get some ideas for scrapbooking, I know that I can always got to Scrappin’ on the Boulevard to take classes, get great advice and buy all the supplies I need.
They have everything you need to get started making greeting cards, photo albums and other great paper projects. If you love paper and riboon, you will love going here. I have never seen so many different colors and designs in my life. I would love to own a whole wall of ribbon like they have in their store.
I have been frequenting Scrappin’ on the Boulevard for well over a year now and I love it. The owners Sharen and Tom Brunner along with their daughters have really made the shop fun. They have craft tables set up that are available for use by the public free of charge and they also hold classes and special crop nights. It is very rare to go into the store and not see a group of women sitting together enjoying each others company and working on projects. It has been a great place to get away from the distractions of home and actually get some photo albums put together. Twice a month they also hold a Friday night crop that goes from 6pm to 12 midnight. I am not very creative on my own, so this is a great time to go and get ideas from other scrapbookers.
Classes are taught by several different teachers and a list of new classes can be found in the store. There is always a different holiday project class and in May the store is holding a 12-hour Mother’s Day crop. Prices are different for different projects and all the supplies are included. I will go into the store and need a specific thing that they don’t have and they have always looked for it and ordered it for me special. If you have a small child, the shop has a small play area set up in one corner of the store where they can play while you work or shop.

One of the best features of Scrappin’ on the Boulevard are the die cuts. At a station in the back of the shop there are several different die cuts for cutting out picture frames, snowmen, and even Mickey Mouse. I have a yearly membership that allows me to go anytime and use them. I usually bring paper from home and make all the die cuts I need at once. A yearly membership is only $12, and you can also use the machines for $3 an hour.
Scrappin’ on the Boulevard is located next to Subway at 1520 Northwest Blvd. While there are a few parking spots parallel to the building in front, I find it is much easier to park in the small lot behind the building and enter through the back door. I have never had a problem finding a place to park. If you have a child who needs a stroller, you don’t have to cart yours inside, because they have a few available for use in the store by their back door.

I loved the article. I would love to spend a little time browsing the isles of Scrappin on the Boulevard. What a fun place to find everything you need for scrapbooking and card making. Thanks for letting me know about another place to visit when I am in Coeur d’Alene.
I love to scrapbook and told my husband next time we go through CDA, we are stopping here.
