Our family likes this site because it is a great spot if you are going to float the river. If you bring a bicycle with you it can be left where you will be pulling out of the river and then you can ride it back up to your car at the drop off point. This allows you to make the trip with only one car. We usually only drop off a mile or two up the river, doing too long of a trip can lead to bad sunburns and hunger pains if you don’t have any snacks.

Daily fees for Bumblebee Campground near Coeur d'Alene are fourteen dollars a night. Camp spots at Bumblebee Campground near Coeur d'Alene are near drinking water and bathrooms.

We usually fish when we are up the river and there are plenty of spots that are good for this. Coal Creek, which is located about another 10 miles up the road, is popular with fly fishermen and then there is the Steamboat Pond about 6 miles from Bumblebee that is great for families. You can also get some hiking in at the Coal Creek Connection trail past mile post 15.
Bring plenty of sunscreen and mosquito repellant and you will have a great time.

Things to Bring:

Camper or tents and camp gear
Tubes or small rafts for floating
Sunscreen and bug spray
Wood and kindling for your campfire
Plenty of food and drinks
Camera and binoculars
First-Aid Kit and Aloe
